Marisa Edrozo is a Madrid-based artist blending photography, video, and dance. Her academic philosophical training– centered on themes of intersubjectivity, time, and the ephemeral– grounds her work. Edrozo leverages the unique positionality of photo and video arts to draw near the ineffable. Her work mediates the fluid movement of dance and the stillness of lens-based media to translate abstract inquiries into visceral visual narratives.

Edrozo studied Philosophy, Comparative Religious Studies, and Education at the Honors College at Northern Arizona University.
